Revolutionary Mac & Cheese -- the pasta is cooked in the milk, which forms the base for the sauce. No water, no draining... I've been looking for this recipe for years!!! 2 cup pasta, 2 cup milk, 1 cup cheese

  1. How long do you cook the mac and cheese and is it crock pot or stove top or bake?

  4. I just experimented with a 1/2 batch. I just boiled it all together. Once it got to a boil I turned it low and stirred a lot - I didn't want the milk to scald. It's done when the noodles are cooked through, just like normal pasta. It seemed to take longer to get there since I has the boil so super low. All I had handy was gluten free corn elbow mac and it was good. Normal mac would probably be better. I did add salt pepper and a pat of butter later since no one was looking.
